We all know that Storm 4 is out now and I just can't help but wonder . . .
Is the online community still alive?
Back when I was playing 2, Gen and 3 the community was alive and flourishing.
Now when I get online for Storm 4 no one is on at all . . . (X1 BTW)
Coming from Storm 3 online, I never went to revolution when it dropped . . .
Countless of Veteran players complaining about the new mechanics and nerfs . . .
I tried to play it with my Storm 3 skill to see if it would break through the nerfs but everything was completely changed.
I eventually checked YouTube to see what the community rated the game on a personal level coming from Storm 3 . . .
Most people I assume didn't like Revolution because they felt CC2 nerfed it for newcomers . . . ( I believe this 100%)
I even challenged some Revolution players to Storm 3 and they could not handle the faster gameplay . . .
Anyways beside that, Storm 4 fixed alot of broken things Revolution had in-game wise but of course, no spectator mode.
No ninja world map and plenty of Nerfs that are still felt from Revolution that destroyed the formula of Storm 3 . . .
I personal had made an effort to go on Xbox website and post my opinion on bringing Storm 3 for backwards compatibility.
Lots of people were asking for Revolution to be free for backwards compatibility on X1 and I was very angry when I posted
In my opinion, due to the peak of the Storm Community in 3, I explained that since Revolution, the online community had
the biggest drop in online players in 4 anyone ever saw and that they should bring Storm 3 back for X1 . . .
Anyway, do you think if Xbox brings Storm 3 back, there might be life in the community again? If so please comment.
