The Shinobi Alliance are like the crappy teammates LeBron had in Cleveland that were worthless. LeBron had to carry them and spoonfeed his teammates easy points by drawing triple teams and kicking it out to them for wide open shots only to see them miss anyway. Similar to how Naruto had to carry his teammates of the Shinobi Alliance and spoonfeed them Chakra and they still sucked and cost him the fight(the NBA championship)

LeBron had to take his talents to Miami to join the great Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in order to finally win a ring.

Naruto had to take his talents to the Hokages to join the great Hashirama and Minato in order to finally start winning against Obito.

You could say the Shinobi Alliance were like the 80s Chicago Bulls. Absolute one man team with Jordan, but they couldn't win the title and kept getting owned by Bird and Magic(Obito and Madara).

Later they added some good players like Horace Grant and Scottie Pippen and they started winning. Similar to how Naruto finally got some help from Hashirama and Minato and is now winning.

The steady big guy... I guess Kitsuchi. He came in handy a few times, grabbed a few rebounds(sank the juubi with his earth techniques), and was a strong steady defensive presence in the paint(helped block a few of Juubi's attacks with his earth defense moves).
