I think it's better at controlling Bijuu but the level of skill on how they control the Bijuu depends on the user. So a Rinnegan user could be better than a Sharingan user, don't know if we can determine a universal answer or conclusion that is clear and undeniable yet.

Talented Rinnegan User's power to control Bijuu > Crap Sharingan user's power to control Bijuu. And Vice versa...

i think thats cuz nagato was a uzamaki and not originally born with those eyes, if tobi really did give them to him like he says he did

Not at all. Nagato can't control tail beast cuz jirayai couldn't teach him genjutsu. Think about it like this the rinnagun is the sharigun basically evolved twice. So if it isn't better it should be at least its equal in abilities.

At controlling Bijuu yea. I think it mutated from the Rinnegan because of the Juubi in the sage.

I think the sharingan would be better. It's more efficient since you can just control the bijuu with your eyes instead having to fight in a full fledged battle using the rinnegan.
