Is the Pain arc the most intense part of Naruto?

Obviously not the most intense in terms of people killed and general casualties, but the most intense
in the sense of playing with your feelings, giving you mixed emotions.

Also I talk about the whole Pain arc including Jiraiya's infiltration in Amegakure and Konoha's destruction by Pain as well as
Nagato's backstory.

What do you think?

Yep.

I was shocked when Pain killed Kakashi and I also thought Hinata died.

And that moment when SM Naruto appeared for the first time and started to own the fight! I will never forget my reaction to seeing SM Naruto for the first time.

And that arc also confirmed that Minato was Naruto's father, and the plot twist that Pain was actually a puppet and the real guy was someone else! That was a nice twist lol.

Agreed. The enemy controlled the dead, use nuclear weapons, and controlled magnetic forces. That’s way beyond what people are use to and it’s god-like.

I'd say so.

It gave us the highlight of power scaling in NV without being gods.
also that quality animation on the very crucial and climatic part of the series.

It was one of the most intense, but not at the top. For me, the intensity of the Pain arc is surpassed by the late game war arc and moments like the following:

1. Madara casting the infinite tsukuyomi
2. The juubi's revival (and also when Obito first started the revival of the juubi)
3. The juubi nuking cities and HQ with bijuudamas, as well as that mokuton machine gun
4. The moment Madara first showed perfect susanoo.
5. Kaguya's resurrection and the entire ensuing fight.
6. Madara landing on the battlefield next to Obito and revealing that the 5 kage were "not okay", and seeing the 5 kage bloody on the ground with Tsunade cut in half.
7. All of VOTE 2 Naruto vs Sasuke
8. The juubi's final form sucking everyone dry of chakara and almost killing Shikamaru.
9. Madara extracting Kurama from Naruto and stabbing Sasuke
10. Madara becoming the 10 tails jinchuuriki!
11. Obito becoming the 10 tails jinchuuriki!

(This is in no particular order)

It was the best arc of NarutoSeriEs.

Pain was a never before type villain with almost intimidating qualities, all at the same, doesn't look ugly like Juubi Jinchuurikis and 'overbuffed' kind of feEl.

The GoDs destroyed NV, It should've been more Pain like characters, than MadAra like buffed uncool characters.

Upto Danzo Arc, NaruTo was worth watching, then came the bad animation and shitty designs and Juubi bullsh!t.

I think so. It was probably the worst calamity to become of the Leaf Village since Kurama was summoned. Arguably was worse since by the time Naruto got there everything was nearly gone, to the point where he didn't even know it was the village.

Indeed. It was the most intense arc.

Then ruined by Kishi when he pulled a Dragon Ball and undid all the death and brought everyone killed back to life.
