I really enjoy its themes and universe. It is also quite emotional at times.

Not really, it's just for entertainment purposes.

But the starting limit for the audience is 12 yr olds. I think they could learn a little through some characters that had decent quotes (antagonists and protagonists), so there's that. It could be helpful and educational to a slight degree that way, as much as a manga/anime could be. If they really wanted to learn, they'd have to crack open a real book.

And emotional, many of the death scenes were. Zabuza's, Haku's, Itachi's, Yahiko's, etc.

this series main theme is about balance in life Yin-Yang, Good and Bad, light and darkness

But this series taught us about friendship, cooperation, redemption, forgiveness.

also reminded us not to be power hungry, selfish
