Is the manga a bit ''here and there'' at the moment?

Ok, does anyone feel like Naruto Manga (the storyline) is a bit 'here and there' at the moment??.. And there doesn't seem to be any pattern with random things just being added, that are not necessarily plot twists?. (Mind you this is not a thread to bash the manga at all)

So Obito's main goal is the Infinite Tsukiyomi, and for that he needed to revive the 10 tails, and without the 9 tail's chakra, it's impossible.. I've always thought the reason Obito didn't start the Infinite Tsukiyomi when the 10 tails was revived is bcoz he needed to summon the moon and for that he had to be the Juubi's jinchuuriki, and bcoz the shinobi alliance won't just let him summon the moon, he had to get rid of all of them..

But after reading the latest chapter, it seems like he's going to start the Infinite Tsukiyomi anyways, which makes me ask the question.. What was the point of the past few chapters?, so basically we have Obito become a pseudo Sage of Six paths, and he does absolutely NOTHING, he didn't manage to kill a single person :| .. Maybe apart from Hiruzen (which isn't confirmed btw, but then again Hiruzen is a freaking Zombie as the other three Hokages, so him dying doesn't count), we have Minato feel bad for himself, the whole shinobi alliance saved AGAIN.

The thing from the past chapters is that, they finally figured out Obito's weakness, and Bijuu mode + Sage mode is pretty cool if you ask me. But immediately they figured out Obito's weakness, he stopped being a Jinchuuriki as we can see in the last chapter.. Which makes the whole bijuu sage mode combo useless and pointless.. And the whole Obito turning into the Jinchuuriki kind of pointless

And it's just really confusing, the whole story line is just a bit inconsistent (IMO), I will keep reading the manga to see how things turn out, but does anyone else feel like the story and the whole plan isn't making any sense/ following any pattern?

I feel like Obito thought he was invincible after becoming a jin, and after realizing he's not from eating a rasengan he's hurrying along the plan.

Agreed. This war arc has been a complete mess.
Still going to read/watch until the end though.

Yeah the last 20 chps or so have really been turning me off the plot more and more since it seems like there's not as much consistency as there used to be. That added with the fact of the Kages and Orochimaru and crew still haven't arrived. No one has mentioned Hiruzen (if he's still around or not) and Kakashi is still chillin in Kamui. It's getting to the point where I'm just waiting for Naruto to end

İt seems messy and inconsistent to me.

Things seem to pop out of nowhere, first Neji dies, 13 minutes later No one gives a shit. Does Naruto's resolve of "keeping friends alive" relevant? Again Neji dies, Nobody knows what to do, 15 minutes later Sakura manages to summon or heal, cuz makin a sannin parallel. First it was "allience No jutsu", then hokages Show up it turns into "we all weak and useless".
And dafuq with the nostalgia crap? Sorry but world's fate is yet to be determined. The chapter when everyone get saved and Minato cried...was useless. None of those could have happened, we already saw Naruto and Minato's resolve; leave it beautifully without forcing bonds and emotional moments...

Why do you think Obito is not a Jinchuuriki anymore? He either called forth a huge part of the Juubi or just formed a huge chakra cloud that looks like the Juubi, but either way, we have no sign that he gave up on being the Jin. That would be totally contradicting his plan.

it's a colossal mess (a cluster****) if you ask me ....................... trying to jam to many things in the ending from minato's feeling, obito's power/resolve, madara and hashi's conclusion, the other characters in the war and what they think/feel, trying to show off the hokage's powers (still waiting for the rest) and these are the results.

even kishi lost track of whats going on .......................... used his pen at HIGH SPEED, then looked at the outcome while scratching his head :yeah: wouldn't be surprised if he considered adding some unicorns to this formula/mess .............................

U ɑre right about some inconsistency, but it wɑsn't stated that obito need the 9tail chakra and what about the 8tail,
1. obito himself stated that a piece of chakra frm 9 and 8 tais will be enough, and 1st he has to be the jinchuriken which he has done and besides the moon has been shown so many times, even when madara talked about his trump card, we saw the moon.
2. So about that moon theory u ɑre wrong
3 he is the 10tail jinchuriken and his sealing was totally different from all the sealing techs u have seen before, obito doesn't have 10tail bijuu mode and that why he brought the 10tail mode in a different way, u can look at the 10tail, it is completely different from before
The inconsistency i see now are the gokage, oro,suigestu, karin, kakashi not being showed when they auto and we don't know if hirusen is dead or not, the remaing is fine.
We where able to see other character development, and the power of the previous hokage's
And sm +bm is a more powerful tech to be able to stop, the infinite tysukayomi

I agree. Kishi seems very confused about where the plot is going and just chainging his writing on a whim. As much as I would dislike a manga break, I think Kishi needs a month off just to collect his thoughts and figure out how he is going to move the plot forward.

I think it will all come together some time later. If we got, like, 50 chapters at once, it would appear more consistent. Right now the pacing is very slow :|
