i think what you're trying to say is : is it rightfully his power (should it be in his arsenal) ?? personally i would count kurama as something iN his arsenal (it was a temporary condition) ..... but he still posses that ability (to control bijuu's). so you still have to give him credit for HAVING that ability, and with his knowledge and skill, he combined kurama with susanoo (kurama with susanoo armor). i like how kishi explained how dangerous uchiha madara is (it's not only about having strong jutsu but also how he uses it, thats what separates a true legend from a simple strong shinobi) that's why madara is one of the BIG guys. U_U

well....to be honest...it is absolutely fair...because he is using it as a summom..and also controlling it unlike a regular summon....gamabunta can help jiraiya on his will, but that won't be the case for madara, he has to control it's every movements with precision which in fact is far more difficult...and if you call that unfair, then i think naruto using kurama power is even more unfair because with the ability to control kurama chakra naruto is actually gaining DIRECT ACCESS TO KUARAMA'S RAW POWERS AND TBB and using them as his own.....on the other hand madara has to control kurama in order to make it use it's powers.... INDIRECTLY.....

i think madara deserves a lot of credit just by performing that feat....controlling kurama and protecting it by susanoo requires unimaginable skill...and i like the fact that kishi didn't show any lame dbz like power ups in that fight vs hashirama...it was an all-in-all battle of true ninja art.....hashirama had to defeat madara for the sake of plot...but in my opinion both these guys are simply awesome....hats off to kishi at the way he showed this fight to us with sheer perfection.....much better compared to BM naruto's lame power-ups and him using TBB as his own even if he had learnt to control it...
