Is the God Tree a large Genjutsu?

I was looking into the god tree, and it seem more like an Ideal conjured from a story, If so,whiy would it bloom a large eye with a Sharingan?

My question is with all that seems to be happening the fact that this tree had grown out of nowhere only to take chakra and fuel a large eye, Will Sasuke be the one to break the genjutsu IF and only if "God Tree" is the real genjutsu ?

nt only sasuke bt also madara(whoever has sharingan) can break it. So the uchiha clan were swapped as they can break the genjutsu

God Tree is not a large Genjutsu, it's the source of Chakra, kinda like a Yggdrasil Tree

It isn't a genjutsu and even if it was do you think that Madara would lie to Hashirama and Sasuke would nothing to break it. Maybe Sasuke is an ally of Madara. What do you think?
