Is The Anime Buiness Growing Small or Big?

Ive Talked to a Couple Voice actors myself and they have said the Anime Biz is kinda Struggling.

Travis Willingham said that its because people are pirating anime offline instead of buying it.

So what are Your Thoughts?

Pirating of movies/anime/cartoons and other media is the cause of the downfall of many careers.

Wonder why Naruto has losted so many fans? Because no one will pay if its free on the cloud.

I'd keep going if I were you. Don't give up(Shit, I sound like that *** Naruto). I gave up acting to pursue computers. I regret it a little but thats me!

Indeed it has But i am not going to Quit im going to pursue my dreams of a Voice Actor!!. Its worth it to work with some of the voice actors i look up to.

The anime business is skyrocketed at its Home,Japan.
People still buy it there,along with the manga and stuff,in other countries,you can never find Subbed anime in the shops,and the release date on Dubbed is like,2-3 years difference between the Subbed episodes.

Yes but the fact that when stuff is released out in japan then it is fan subbed. Then ripped on to a PC and or Laptop then Thrown out to Various torrent sites and that is the beginning of the end of then anime industry slowly killing it. Is what Voice actors Have been saying.

Several points are wrong here. Most of the people are either children who can't afford to buy the anime and their mommies and daddies wont be it for them, or poor smucks like myself who couldn't afford it anyway. Thus, they aren't actually losing money when I can't even afford to pay for my own internet anyway.

Besides, the time between anime being released in Japan vs other countries is an eternity. Who wants to wait that long for the next episode? I NEED IT NOW!

Final point: Piracy and Bootlegging has existed for a really long time. It's not going away anytime soon. Society has coexisted for this long.

Well they still have top dogs Naruto, Bleach, and One piece. Once this three ongoing animes end, or grow old, then they need to come out with other 3 epic anime that match these three, which is going to be extremley hard, specially naruto

Wrong,a kid hated at the beginning of its life gaining powers is Top 1 scenario for most Anime out there.

One Piece will be really hard to replace.

i dont steal anime but i watch it for free on like funimation netflix and hulu and i buy some anime but im only 16 i dont have enough money to buy them but i would and wish i could and when i get a job i will start buying them
