Is the Animation of Naruto....

Getting better or worse to you? I feel like its definitly getting better. During the War Arc I feel the animation felt lazy, like Madaras fight with the Shinobi Alliance and his fight with the 5 Kage (except for when he activated his PS). The only part where the animation was good was the Sasuke and Itachi Vs Kabuto. But I think they've been doing a little better since the start of the Juubi Revival Arc. Your thoughts on the animation?

I would like to know how does a vertical slash cut mountain horizontally

There are parts of the war where it's been pretty good, but the coloring, shading, and animation quality from the first few seasons of Shuppuden were the best. Right around the time they started doing random fillers after Pain was defeated the quality felt like it was going down.

Either the colors were too bright, the animation a little sloppy at times, or the shading was way too overdone.

That was one episode though. The majority of that fight was garbage fanimation quality.

Shippuden is too inconsistent with it's animation style and that's why I can't stand it. I know it's an ongoing series but I just cant concentrate when the style changes every episode- it's so jarring. Even if you just decided to always have average animation or crap animation for every episode and just stuck to that one quality level it'd be better than what we have now.

It makes the only episodes worth watching the ones where they bring in outside animators. And then if they're the only ones you're watching then it's hardly an anime more a clip show.

I wouldn't say horrible, but it was more stylized. I read somewhere that they have different teams of animators from Japan and Korea that work on the animation. The new animation is good though. I don't know if it is better than Full Metal Alchemist, but it is good.

I really have to re-watch that anime its been years since I watch FMA.

Animation wise, the studios have been getting better, its the artwork they have been slacking on, in my opinion. Look at the first episodes of part two, obviously, the characters were better drawn and there was a larger attention to detail but the animation was average at best. As the series progressed, the animators seemed to have focused more on fight scenes and combat, and focused less on things such as character detail, background, lighting, etc.

The studio constantly has animation ups and downs. The only crucial fights they screwed up were Naruto vs. Sasuke and Naruto vs. Pain wich gave birth to so many memes. XD

Lol @ those people who say the animation of the Pain vs. Kyuubi episode was horrible. You guys really need to differentiate between animation and artwork.

OT: It's difficult to judge whether the animation is improving or not since it's very inconsistent.

It's getting much much better.
The animation in recent episodes was amaaaaazing. Just look at the Madrasa vs Hashirama fight, or Hashirama and Tobirama chakra.
