I know it took a lot of chakra to gather the amount of electricity to level out against the TBB Lol Naruto was most likely holding back tho as stated by Sasuke.

It shouldn't be but then again this is Kishi's work. Honestly, seems more like it clashed against a TBB and the expected destructive explosion of the TBB happened because it collided with Susano'os Chidori. I feel that there was already going to be a huge explosion regardless of what it'd hit.

Most likely no if we talk about matching powerwise. However chidori is type of piercing attack and all that is needed is for chidori be able to pierce tbb surface forcing it to explode.

In othee words at close range(before tbb is shoot) it is usefull as both users need to deal with damage of tbb

However if tbb was shoot of then although it could still pierce through it would be useless as only Dasuske would be caught in blast explosion.
