Is Susanoo a summon?

could you say that the Susanoo granted by the Mangekyo Sharingan is a form of summoning rather than a technique? according to myth, susanoo is the god of battle or something.... i ask this because there is no other justu like it in the entire Narutoverse. it seems like an entity. dont u agree?

my theory is that the susanoo is like a miniature version or children of the the ten tails.........

basically, what im saying is, that the rinnegan is automatically connected to the ten tails......madara conjured up a statue, same as nagato.

There is no blood or contract involved. All you need to do is to activate MS on both eyes. Susanoo' is a technique full of risks, it hurts the user (badly) and a summoning is not like that. WHen you summon something yo need to perform some handseals and susanoo' just appeares without any handseals. I think it is more like a giant amount of chakra that takes form of a humanoid creature.

Susanno is a manifestation of the user's own chakra. Unless they summon chakra reserves to battle then no it's simply a technique like Naruto's Bijuu Mode which is Kurama's chakra.

A summon is it's own physical entity and has its own consciousness sasunoo doesn't although madaras clones were moving on there own but I wouldn't consider it a summon
