Is strength based on quantity/quality of chakra, or just genes?

Question up there. Raikage, who has the chakra of a bijuu, I'm assuming has more chakra than Tsunade. However, Tsunade is capable of making herself more powerful than him, but under a technique.

So what determines strength?

Strength should simply be judged by a characters overall abilities, not just chakra reserves :y

Still, Tsunade has way more chakra than the Raikage does. He does beat her, no doubt, but she's the clear winner when it comes to chakra reserves.

Yes, I get that they can charge up with their chakra. But what I'm saying is just their regular strength, no perks, no nothing. Does your strength depend on the quality of your chakra, your life force? Or is it something inherited from your parents?

strength to me is based by not the amount of chakra but how you use that chakra.
for example if you put a large sum of chakra into one punch the punch will be strong.
But if you can teach to focus it and sharpen it, it will be even more powerful.

Lol, no.
The medical ninjas ususally have precise chakra control. We all know Shizune and Kabuto are excellent medical ninjas, but the can't use the Chakra Enchanted Strength. But there is Tsunade and Sakura, whose chakra control is PERFECT.

Everything overall....suppose if you compare naruto with itachi you'll get the answer...itachi is so skilled, talented, has the uchiha blood and MS, awesome analysing ability plus some super awesome techniques but low stamina.and naruto has so-so skills, pure RAW POWER and monstrous chakra, is not so talented and intelligent like itachi but still he will have the upper hand......in a way......

It would be skill then quality on top and then quantity or that dosent matter that much if you have prefect chakra control.

But quality dose matter look what kuramas chakra did all their tech got like 3 times stronger. No wonder senju bros are so strong they have like god like chakra strenght.

Well let me also add that Tsunade's strength is raw, many people think it's because of her chakra enhanced strength, but that's just adding to the already immense strength she has. & on topic, I believe it's quality.

My first post xd...
Tsunade is using chakra enhanced strength, so she is even able to create a crevice with her finger.
Her great chakra-control gives her the possibility to vary her power.
The Raikage is using his speed to get the power ...so he does'nt use any chakra control.
