now looking at the sage modes it revolves around the users powers/jutsus it just gives them a boost in chackra and prevent them from getting tired easily.
if you all ask me jiriaya frog mode wasn't all that OP like kabuto snake mode. itachi and suske could hardly beat him. if it wasn't for izanami they would of lose. cause non of the brothers possess senju DNA to use Izanagi.
kabuto was too slippery (shedding his skin) and kept slithering from them.
and like what he said he dreamed to go there as well (RYUCHIDOU CAVE), but unlike orochimaru who couldn't mastered it he was able to enter sage mode. i dont think he mastered it cause if he did he wouldn't look so slippery and disgusting, just like how jiriaya reflected some frog images.
as you could all see, orochimaru had a bit of sage mode ability as he was able to shed his skin and use/pour senjutsu chackra into Anko. thats why he created so many curse seals to find the perfect body that could handle SNAKE SAGE MODE. and SAUSKE is the perfect vessel.
judging from what i saw, it can be concluded that snake sage is better than frog sage. (OF COURSE THIS IS MY OPINION). cause kabuto just depended on nature energy to evade and dodge EVERY SINGLE ATTACK, without looking into itachi's eyes at all. not only that it seems like he could take in as many nature energy as possible if he wanted. thats what both Naruto and jiriaya sage mode lacks.
so frog sage mode----------take in too many nature energy and you turn into a frog
snake sage mode----------- if your body cant handle nature energy, taking in too much will cause your body to rot.
AND THERE IS STILL ONE MORE LEGENDARY PLACE; "SHIKKOTSURIN" HAWKS OR SLUGS :shrug: WE WILL FIND OUT IN DUE TIME, IT WONT TAKE FOREVER. if you ask me i would say kishi saved the best sage mode for last. he's unpredictable, maybe he gives it to Sauske or he doesn't kills Tsunade and give her that power up.
