Is SM Hashirama's striking power really greater than BM Naruto's?

Just judging by size, one might say the TBB is stronger. However, there have been clear examples throughout the manga showing that size does not matter how powerful an attack is, just the range of the attack. Hashirama's Buddha was meant to take down a 100% Kurama. If a 50% Kurama's TBB could have destroyed it, Madara would have defeated Hashirama. This clearly was not the case, as you said he can catch the TBB and return it at him. Yet, even if it hit the Buddha, I highly doubt it would have been defeated. U_U

It's about power, no other factors. Would the TBB make something more significant than the valley or not. Not if Hashirama wins overall.

I know, that's not what I was aiming at. I was trying to explain that I think the Buddha would hit harder, as it is more then half a mile high. But again, size doesn't matter, this is just my opinion.

Also, if you are going by how much damage it would do to an area of land, Naruto's TBB wins this by far. The explosion radius by such a monster attack would for sure mess up an area.

All i did was skim the OP and look at last line. So, i'll show you the error of your ways.

First of all, you used the scan of 7 combined bijuu dama's to estimate the size of naruto's own. But, at least you stated naruto's own could be roughly 1/2 the size. Now, this is unlikely, though naruto made a ball of similar size( off a Flash TBB for some weird reason), his bijuu-dama should be 1/7 the area of that scan. In any case, just for argument sake, I'll show you what half that explosion would look like. It's completely and utterly smaller. What you must not forget is that, 1/2 of that cicle is actually 1/4 the circumferance and a whole lot less the Area.

In other words, Take away hashi's mokuton and goju rashoumon still deflects the tbb which would cause said explosion.

EDIT: Browsed some replies and understood point of thread a little more. Either way, Naruto's tbb would cover at most 1/4 of the circumference of that circle and should have 1/7th the total Power.

Really if we are just talking about strength of direct attacks then a TBB is the strongest.

If we are talking about the ability to redraw the maps then Hashirama as that guy can create a forest in the blink of an eye.

Those chakra arms are much thicker than the ones that destroyed the barrier. No way 2 50% Kuramas did that without enhancement.

1st There's 6 bijus total. Goku was taken out at the time. 2nd Naruto's TBB was equal size and B wondered if he was going to counter it with equal force. If the edo jin's TBB were stronger than Naruto's charged one, it would have been knocked downwards instead of being knocked upwards like what happened in the manga.
