is skyrim the worst game of the year and should it be worth a try?

i have been seeing reviews of skyrim getting 10/10 every time and they say it's the best game of all time but i don't think so.

my question is skyrim even playable on console's well like the 360 or ps3 because every gameplay that i have seen is it lag through out the game, there are big glitches of npc not dying,dragon flying backwards and you can't fight it,if your memory is to high of a save on your console this game will crash in like 5 minutes, and many more glitches that make the game seem unjoyable.

i understand that some games could have glitches in them and even big open world games but this games seems to have so much and there not even little there are some pretty big glitches that can corrupt your data so auto save well destroy your game when it builds in data.

so with all that i have seen why didn't they say that skyrim had all these bugs in it the first time and say that they dont find anything wrong with the game, with all these bugs it makes the game unplayable to finish the story especially the ps3 and the 360 still has some messes so how can you say it's hard to find anything wrong with this game.

so was the ign,game informer, and other known game reviewers false in their claims, do you think this game is playable, or that games that are this messy shouldn't be released since alot of people can't enjoy this game or finish the story and the patch to fix bugs still mess up the game.

so would you recommend buying skyrim to me or do you think it is the worst game of the year because of all it's fault's.

It has a ton of bugs on it, so I got mine on PC. The PC version>Xbox&PS3.

I got it on ps3 and I can say latest patch fixed almoust all the glitches I had in the game.
Except the one where when you die to a giant you fly to the moon xd

if i could live in tamriel i would thats all i have to say

i play on the ps3 and rarely have glitch issues or bug problems although we still dont have the DLC makes me sad but itl be worth the wait

PC simply cos on pc you can get tons of mods to keep it more fun

A game as Huge as Skyrim Ought to have some bugs, but if you get it on the PC, then you can keep updating it with small patches, that's what I do... It's a really Big and almost an endless game and Roaming. I would suggest you get it ONLY for PC... trust me PS3's Version Sucksss!!... or at least mine does, and I don't know about the Xbox360's one .-.

In my opinion, Skyrim is an amazing game! However, I did find the game to be quite laggy framerate-wise on the PS3 version, below the 30's (not sure how that compares to the 360 version).

I didn't run into any major game-breaking bugs either.

Recently bought Skyrim on PC w/ Dawnguard for mods (and wanting to play Dawnguard since it's taking forever for PS3 to get it) and for much better stability.

i don't get why some of the ps3 versions don't work well but others claim that it runs smoothly do you know why?, but i guess your right the pc is the better one but i just want to play the story because the first time i saw it, it actually looked very nice but i don't want to risk it since there were so many complaints.

i just wanted to see the chances of skyrim running smoothly on a console

i got the slim so if it was fine for you on the elite i guess it would be good on the slim
