Is Shiki Fuujin enabled to be used?

As the title says...Orochimaru cut his belly in exchange of a soul. But, did that made the Shinigami useless forever or just disabled for some time?

And can a Edo-Tensei body use Shiki Fuunjin? It would be w good way to finish Madara.

My question is: Why did Orochimaru have to switch bodies? Why didn't he just use oral rebirth or use the technique to connect both halves of his body. Like he did when four tailed Naruto bisected him.

I think it's because Zetsu is a "Hashirama" clone but weaker. So that body may be the best body he has ever entered.

It could make some sense, I guess. But that also would mean he's confident enough that he could both take Sasuke's body, and wait three or so years for Sasuke's body. He did make it clear that he wanted Sasuke's body after all...

I may be wrong, but after he absorbed Kabuto's memory, listened the whole history from Konoha directly from Hashirama he changed his mind...I mean...With the Edo-Tensei he could have easily defeated Sasuke. Maybe he just lost his will to live or his will to complete his objective.

Let me explain to you how a seal works good friend. Let us use Naruto's seal for example.

Someone seals the jinchuriki into Naruto. Someone then breaks Naruto's seal.. does that mean no one can ever seal a bijuu using that same seal anymore? or could someone seal the bijuu into a diferent jinchuriki after some time?

Answer: None of the above, it is immediantly usable once the seal has been broken. Because it is a seal, they are formed and they are broken. That is just what they do. Orochimaru cutting his stomach open didnt "hurt" or "injure" the shki in anyway.
