I am just going to copy-paste my own VM to save me the trouble: I have been saying this since ages - the kages need to be put in the graves, their systems abolished for the future to have a fighting chance. It's only now that the manga has head down this path. Hence, I fully support Sasuke's stance on this. Naruto cannot guarantee the future, no one can. If the system is over-hauled, with these relics of the past gone, then there can be a modicum of credibility to the notion of peace.

Consider the consequences that would result if Sasuke decides to kill the 5 most influential people in the world.

Think of what would happen if somebody murdered Nelson Mandela, Obama, Jesus, Muhammad, and Gahndi right now

These dictators who didn't lose any opportunity to take part in mass slaughters, left human shambles, orphans, destruction in their wake through three great ninja wars, breached treaties, even used terrorism against their own people just so the countries wouldn't dry their funds are like the people you listed? You must be joking.

Also, they are not world leaders, nor are the equivalent to one. The Kage title is given to the military dictator of only 5 of the strongest villages. The rest of the world still exists beyond this limited compass. The countries leaders are the actual rulers of as this present shinobi alliance couldn't even be formed without their approval.

Do you think that the villagers or lower ranking Shinobi have any idea of what the Kage really do? Most of them remain oblivious to the darker side of their leaders. We know that Ay planned the kidnapping of Hinata and almost incited another war, but odds are, 98% of his village isn't aware of this.
As an American who regularly travels, I can fairly say that our country is easily one of the most successful ones on the planet. Hell, even people in Cambodia know who Barack Obama is and respect him.
The same must apply for the NV. Smaller villages may look up to larger villages such as Konoha and Suna.
If Sasuke executes the Gokage, without a doubt people will seek vengeance and that's where the cycle of hatred continues.
