I wld say the fact that he is choosing to b on the world's side vs an opponent who if they succed in their plans wld also affect him wld make me far more skeptical of him claiming to b a completly new person, as an example of what I mean, take say Gotham city has its known villain the Joker then another villain comes up and he steals the spot light from Joker and is curbstomping Batman(the joker's ach-rival) and then the Joker decides to help good old Dark Knight out, well I wld trust him coz I wld know after the other big bad is done un he(Joker) goes back to his usual self so his reason for helping is selfish psycopathic greed but if he claims to now b forever a save the masses kinda guy(and wants to b hokage) I wld b suspicious of somekind of backstabbing coming my way/I wld think he is a brat who sniffs too much of his own fart(wank). What I mean by my joker story is not everyone will believe dear old Sasuke helped coz he wld b devastated if we(all shinobi) died, most of them wld chalk his actions as being "well it was the only way to save "himself" too".

I am curious if say after they beat Madara no one acknowledges Sasuke and they even choose to panish him for his crimes, what wld he do, throw himself at the mercy of these pple he knows
a). Are only alive thanx to him being a part of vs Madara.
b). Are weaker than him
c). Some of them are to blame for Itachi and the pain he had to go thru.
d). Stil choose to doubt him and reject him even though he has trully changed(only him and Naruto-mr believe in everyone's better nature know this)
IMO the most important thing that will determine and prove his change isnt fighting vs Madara but how he will deal with the majority's opinion of him being "scum" and a lowlife. I have to add, him spouting nonsense about wanting to b Hokage even adds to pple's skeptisism about him(pple here not being the fans but the charecters in the story who unlike us didnt have the chance to hear Sasuke and Hashi's conversation and like us not his talk with Rikudo we only got it implied that his answer maybe the same as naruto's but it was also kinda implied that Naruto was the Sage's.. .................. , "I saw a lot of" reincantation).

I don't think so, but it's all right for Sasuke. He doesn't care about other opinions as much as Naruto and so on.
Sasuke has a new goal, Hagoromo has been pleased with it, that's all.

Hard to say if Naruto's or Sasuke's childhood was worse. Sasuke had atleast 8 to 10 years a family.

But in the end I can't really blame Sasuke, he was mentally raped two times by Itachi and got the nasty Curse Seal from the Snake Sannin.

From my point of view it was still a d... move to make Itachi a good guy, using a torture genjutsu for 144 hours on a child just doesn't seem like something that a really good guy would do.
