Although I agree with 80% that you have said, it still bugs me that your post says that he defeated Orochimaru & handled the kages. I give his victory against Danzo right away as he did pretty damn good. BUT he would've been toast of Tobi didn't save him at the kage summit. Not only that but he kinda trolled Orochimaru bigtime IMO. obviously genjutsu was Oro's only weakness but to 'finish'(since he's sorta back now) it off so easy was kind of a troll in my eyes. The rest you said is totally true, +rep.

. I agree that he overdid it with the kage fight and had to be saved but I just try to picture a person like that ten years older. He has so much potential, it's just scary. He is not a young Oro, more a young Madara.
What I respected him for when he had to fight Oro (well, they didn't fight, you're right, he just tricked him) is that in a situation when his life was threatened, he was aware of what to do. He studied Oro's weaknesses as he told Itachi later in the story, and he came prepared. He acted cruelly but like a true shinobi. That's why I think he is not weak. He has the power, he can plan his moves out and he has the potential to be the perfect shinobi. But yeah, I agree about his opponents being trolled in some cases.
I'm not a big fan of him but he is a great villain. He is smart, powerful, just too hot-headed, uncontrolled and crazy sometimes. When he works out his weaknesses, he would be perfect. I have a different taste of characters though. I prefer these peace keeping, self sacrifice people who are good friends and die for their comrades. People like Naruto. I just can't hate Sasuke like some people here do. I have to respect him for his achievements and calling him weak because he has some teenage flaws is unfair for me.
