Meh, fair-weather fans.

I read Naruto cuz I like the overall story. Naruto wouldn't really be Naruto if it didn't have it's mains, so I may not have gotten into it when I first started watching years ago.

Sasuke's existence is what keeps the manga from being a generic underdog saves the day from the bad guys shonen manga.
As long as this character is alive what is there to except from this manga?
Oh wait, that hyped final fight between him and Nardo.
Therefore my point stands, this guy makes the manga predictable.

@xcoyote You mean kinda like how you can predict Naruto will become hokage? Naruto is way more predictable than Sasuke

I would... I don't wank a specific character(Unless it's Lord Genma). Even without Sasuke, the story would be good and I would still read it U_U. Without Genma, however, is a completely different story.

See what I did there...

All other manga have a fight between a good guy and a bad guy. Obviously the good guy will win.
In the fight of naruto vs Sasuke, what will be the outcome? Will Naruto kill his best friend? Will Sasuke change his way or die a villain? So now, unlike other manga, the final fight is unpredictable.

The manga is dependent on Sasuke for progression, the wayI see it anyway. If it was dependent on Naruto for progression then we would get dozens of chapters worth of cheesy shonen manga dialogue. Plus most of us are still reading to see the final fight....amirite?

Sasuke is the reason why I got into Naruto, he is the only reason I still watch Naruto (besides Madara). Sasuke keeps things interesting and keeps you guessing. Naruto's important too, but...........well lets put it this way. Sasuke wouldn't be as entertaining without Naruto. I don't like Naruto very much, but I dig the Yin Yang one balancing the other out thing.

@ bold I hope that is a joke.
And Sasuke's existance is central to the plot. He doesn't just complain. He accomplishes things. Even if you don't like his actions, it is a fact that his actions are central to the plot.
