Sometimes it's tough to decide since he does many seemingly selfish things to reach a non selfish goal. For example, abandoning Taka and attacking Karin to kill Danzo, who is a greater evil.

Yes, but he's selfish for noble reasons--if that makes sense.

Dude just does whatever he wants without consulting his family and expects them to just deal with it and understand.

I thought it was ****ed up when in Gaiden Sakura was hearing about the greater threat for the first time and that Sasuke was going to have to leave. You'd think he would've discussed it with his wife beforehand.

It's as if the attitude is if he has to be gone for 12 years without any contact whatsoever, then so be it, It's for the good of the world.....

...as for earlier in the series, yea he was selfish for leaving the village, but again, for noble reasons...he was bound by duty to avenge his brethren....he had to do what he had to do so I don't hold it against him.

And no, Sasuke is not selfish. Someone who prioritizes the village and the shinobi world over his family and personal life is no way selfish.

It depends on what time of his timeline we are speaking. MS Sasuke was extremily selfish, pretty much spitting on Itachi's last wishes. Gaiden Sasuke, on the other end, is selflessy choosing stay away from his wife and daughter to search for a possible threat.
