yeah, Sasuke's method isnt really wrong...he'd be fit for our world lol but his methods aren't right either. He knows only one side of the story, and because of his bias and thirst for revenge (which is understandable) he is just assuming he is right (egocentric) and believes he has what it takes to be hokage. That or Sasuke's gonna pull an Itachi and somehow give Naruto the position, or on the off off off chance Naruto dies...he could become a hokage like Naruto to honor Naruto (though thats really out there at this point in the manga)

Sasuke needs to sit down a minute and get the story from everywhere. He did good going to the past hokage, that was a unsuspecting move (at least for me, but happy about it) but he still hasn't tried to at least understand why Naruto and company would defend the tailed beasts. He might have a change of heart...but im not so sure still Sasuke won't get killed off somehow...

The tailed beasts aren't monsters. Simply misunderstood pets that have been constantly forced to fight. They were warped because of the humans that used them. Naruto is an idiot? That's only half true. Anyone who has seen this war knows that he can be a quick thinker when the plot demands, even coming up with a plan while Shikamaru couldn't.

Naruto lacks charisma? Do you even know what that word means? Naruto is probably the most charismatic person in all of fiction. To a sickening degree. How do you get people to believe in you, to wank you and jerk off to you if you lack charisma? Did you see the amount of people he has talk no jutsu'd? The way people worship him is one of the most hated things in this manga.

I do agree with Sasuke's train of thought though. The Kage's and the shinobi system itself is to blame for the misery that came his way. I think both he and Naruto should work together. I'm just not sure about his methods.

Sasuke would make an excellent hokage due to his way of thinking but because of who he is and his past, I don't really see that happening. In my opinion, Naruto is the symbol that everyone needs, they all look to him as the peacemaker because of his heart and his will. It's because of that though, that's he's ignorant. When Sarutobi was fighting Juubito, his first instinct is "hey we gotta go help him out dad," but he never takes a second to analyze the situation, unlike Sasuke after the fight with Kabuto, where he asks the past hokages those questions, what is a shinobi, etc. That's when he made his decision. Both Itachi and Naruto inherited Hashirama's will, and Sasuke now inherits Itachi's. Their the only two candidates that i see fit for becoming hokage, two different paths, two different ways of thinking, and they both end up at the same goal. It's only up to kishi which way to go. I personally believe they should both rule, but with their opposing views I don't see how that's gonna happen. Sasuke's not stupid for wanting to get rid of the tailed beasts because look what's happening now, Nine Tails is being ripped out of Naruto and all the tailed beasts are being used for an evil cause, however, Naruto can't kill them, if they can be killed, because he knows their names. Sasuke is far more intelligent, but his past makes him an unfavorable candidate. Sasuke knows both worlds, love and hatred, a happy life and one of pure darkness, that's why I believe he has more answers than Naruto. Naruto is determined yes, but Sasuke's will power is overwhelming as well, even way back when he was surpressing the curse mark mid battle when he was taking the chunnin exam. It all boils down to his view of the shinobi world, which I believe to be a very clear one, since he has almost all of the answers. Hashirama's ignorance about the dream of the future, the dream of Madara's future, leads me to believe that the only one who can break the cycle of war is Sasuke. He's more fit to be leader because of his superior intellect, and because he understands that sacrifices have to be made. He's willing to do whatever it takes to ensure Itachi's will is carried on far into the future, where as Naruto won't make those important calls, he'll always find a way where no one has to die, which isn't a reality. He just uses his heart to bring back kakashi and everyone, with the help of Nagato's jutsu, but eventually he's gonna run out of jutsus. And if all goes according to past plot, somehow, everyone's gonna get brought back to life who died in this war, some freaking way. He doesn't realize that his life is connected to others and tht deaths will happen. He needed Kurama and Hinata to remind him of what he it means to really let your friends die. That's why Sasuke will carry on Itachi's will, so that the memory of him may live on. Naruto could've been killed the moment he froze up after Neji died, where as Sasuke the moment itachi dies, contemplates what a clan is, what a village is, etc. and wants to find out the truth.

Not really, Bijuus are not monsters, they were made that way by people trying to abuse their powers. EX: When Madara was capturing Kurama, he called Bijuus mindless beast who are nothing but slaves to the Sharingan. Why would Bijuus be friendly when people treat them like crap? People oppressed the Bijuus like slaves.

The Kage system is just politics, their like Majors of their villages and they don't run their nation but only village. The feudal lords hold the true power. That's why after the kages all agreed with forming an Alliance, all 5 Feudal lords were discussing if they agreed with the decision or not.

Naruto is not an idiot, he have lots of idiot moments because that's how Kishi keeps Naruto from become too strong. If Naruto wasn't dumb then he would have been training with his shadow clones in the 2 1/2 years training and be high jounin to kage level. He can train with 200 clones, that's 200 days worth of training per day for 2 1/2 years.

Naruto shown smarts in his own ways. He was the one to come up with how to beat Kakashi when Sakura and him were fighting Kakashi. Kakashi said how impressive it was that Naruto used his clones to deduce the right strategy when he fought Kakuza. He is observant as well, he noticed how the 3rd Raikage had a scar even though he is said to have great defenses, something the whole cloud village overlooked.

After hearing about how Kakashi's and Obito's Kamui are connected he formed a plan to have his clone get sent to the other dimension while he shoots a tbb at Obito while he clone uses a rasengan. Yes Naruto is headstrong and seem dense but he's more of a hands on learner as Jiraiya, Kakashi and Naruto all said. Naruto was smart enough to connect his chakra arms to him, Sasuke Minato to teleport to safety after hearing Minato describe how FTG works. Kurama and Naruto came up with the plan to connect everyone's chakra to Minato via Yin Yang Kurama chakra and FTG from the Barrier. He was also one of the two only people to discover senjutsu works on Obito, Tobirama being the other person to notice this even said Naruto wasn't dumb.

Why he makes a good leader? Naruto inspires others, Shikamaru told his dad that being with Naruto makes him want to walk with him

. Shikamaru saying that is what made Shikaku also have faith in Naruto and let him go face Nagato alone. Naruto did this with all his friends, Neji, Gaara, Nagato, A, Itachi, Obito were all enemies to Naruto at one point yet all believe in him. Itachi even said you don't become Hokage when you're acknowledged, those who get acknowledged can become Hokage, Naruto remembered this when Sasuke proclaimed himself being the next Hokage

. The first thing Kiba, Shikamaru and the others said was they won't accept Sasuke as Hokage, the people don't acknowledge him nor do the kages. As of now he has no chance for becoming Hokage. Also if he wants to destroy the system then wouldn't he kill himself? Uchihas are cursed with hatred and it's hatred that caused everything that has happened so far. Hatred created Madara, Obito, Nagato, Orochimaru (hated the leaf when Minato was picked as Hokage and he later on attack them), Sasuke.

Sasuke's ideals are as corrupt as Danzo's, they are the very ideals that made the Ninja World as bad as it is.

Sasuke doesn't know the whole story and isn't thinking all of the sides of the story.

That is something Naruto is right about, there are two sides to every story, and there are two sides to every war.

As for the Tailed beasts, they didn't choose to be used in war as weapons of massacre, humans enslaved them and twisted them into monsters.

I think his ethos are understandable, but to execute a lifelong ruling on his behalf as Hokage would require a lot of sacrifice from Sasuke's very persona. It's almost like an ideal democrat vs republican mantra. Sasuke's first formal resolve is to destroy then build anew; Naruto wants to simply persevere with peace, no need to destroy anything. But Sasuke's ethos are very understandable. Hell, if I was him I too would be like, "Yo, you f*cking idiots, since you all screwed up within each generation I'm going to take the notion and fix some sh*t up."
He is very productive in thinking and his determination is admirable. But he needs to consider his followers. A leader is no leader without his followers. It would be in their benefit to see in such ways that Sasuke would expertise as a Hokage, skillful without a doubt and by the fact that he had always took hold of leadership where it may be tangible. But considering this Manga, they would vote him out easily. But they are contradicting; forgiveness and understanding never at the recoil.
If only he had support. He is truly to be analyzed at such a more in depth, eclectic variation.

Sasuke needs some sort of stature. I think he deserves it, too. Maybe not Hokage, but something else at least that promises him a future to eradicate the past.
To be brutally honest, I want him to not be in the village. He could go off and travel like his brother, or start his own renewed clan.
