Well he tamed lightning at 17 and he also mastered the highest ranking of fire manipulation ever seen(enton) around the same time. Both lightning and fire are his strong suites.

He has the highest firestyle (Amatersu/Enton).

And the firestyle that he used on Orochimaru was very advanced

His natural affinity is lightning. He was forced to do a fireball Jutsu as a kid and struggled as a result.

Struggle as a Kid? Great Fireball Jutsu required him to be a rank higher to perform.

He had to practice to get it down. Itachi did it in one go. Sasuke's hard work made him get to that level in fire but Lightning is another one. Like what Pokayo said, his manipulation and variations are enough proof that his Lightning is greater than his Fire. Indra's Arrow says it.

Compare that to his chidori variants &amp; training effort and yeahhhhh he CREATED HIS OWN LIGHTENING STYLE VARIANTS.....I mean he has kirin, ffs!</div>

When did he take the chakra test on screen?
Uchiha's are born with the fire element, Sasuke had more than just Fireball Jutsu in Part 1, he also had Phoenix Sage Fire Jutsu (also known as Phoenix Flower Jutsu) and Dragon Flame Jutsu

What does him practicing have to do with anything? And I say he mastered both Fire and Lightning.

Sasuke is mainly a Lightning user. Uchiha use fire because it is their affinity. Sasuke can use fire, but it took training to do so. Sasuke's lightning was something he developed on his own, and it's his natural talent. Orochimaru was surprised when he saw his Chidori Sharpspear.

On top of that, they act like he didn't train to use Chidori or their variants either. He trained to use Fireball, he trained to use Chidori, and he trained to use Chidori variants and Kirin.
Also, he did NOT struggle with Fireball Jutsu, it was just that Sasuke's fireball was nowhere near as large as Fugaku's or Itachi's. Itachi was also a prodigy so to compare Sasuke to Itachi is just :lol
