Okay, no this isn't gonna be a long ass thread because it's common sense. (To manga readers anyway..)


Sasuke, Juugo, and Suigetsu were having a conversation in the most recent manga chapter.

Sasuke killed Orochimaru? Has Kishimoto forgot his own fight? Yes, I understand how Suigetsu speaks like Sasuke killed him probably because Sasuke didn't inform his team members about his final battle with Itachi. So Sasuke is like "I must go speak with Orochimaru." Suigetsu says "Didn't you kill him?!" as Juugo gives the same reply. Sasuke replies "Orochimaru won't die that easily.." HE GOT SEALED BY THE TOTSUKA BLADE! How can he live on within the curse seals? Nagato hasn't returned and he got sealed as well, SEALED FOREVER like Orochimaru..

Either they forgot, or Sasuke doesn't mention the real truth about his fight with Itachi. Is anyone else confused about this at all? I know I was.. And still am.. Kishi's got some explainin to do.

Orochimaru is different from nagato.

Of course he is, but.. He got sealed last time we seen him.. How can he return? Really doesn't make sense.. Yeah he can return through the Curse mark in Anko but how? He should be in the uhh.. Urn of Itachi's Susano'o

I Truly don't think that Oro is dead because we seen a snake fall and that was a big snake to die for only one snake to come off of it, And the reason we saw one little one, its a little foreshadowing to show that.

Ehh.. Perhaps your right, but still it's kinda stupid to seal off Orochimaru and make everyone believe he's dead and then bring him back. :sy:

Orochimaru is a chakra/ninjutsu/kinjutsu expert and Nagato has no intelligence feats, so that comparison is ridiculous. Btw, awesome avatar.

Notice how it says "or so the legend goes" at the end. Also it does not clearly say "the user cannot reverse the seal himself". Seals in the series have been undone. Although i know i can be wrong i really doubt that counts as final confirmation that it is truly irreversible.

Ehh.. I compared it because they were both sealed by the blade, but should have thought this through a bit more maybe I would've answered myself. :shrug:
