Is Sasuke capable of developing rinnegan?

It doesn't matter if Sasuke get or doesn't get the RinneganIt will not be enough against Naruto ones Naruto has the power of the Juubi. Naruto as the New SO6P will defeated Sasuke if Sasuke decides to oppose Naruto.

Yes, as this is what Orochimaru and Kabuto intended. He possesses, better/stronger eyes compared to Itachi according to Orochimaru, Kabuto, and Obito. He requires Senju Dna to accomplish that though. However, I do not want Sasuke to go down this road. His EMS is quite fitting as a symbol of the ultimate Uchiha. Injecting Senju Dna into it would be a corrupting factor.

1.as you can see there is three rinnegan's.
2 the rikudo's elder son had the rinnegan and not an EMS (obito said that he was born with his father's eyes)
3.you dont need the byakugan to obtain it and it makes no sense for an hyuuga to unlock the eyes of the UCHIHA ancestor(for hinata fans).
4.sasuke will need those eyes to battle naruto in their last fight and that's why kishi put those eyes in the chapter 462(otherwise why would he mention them if he was not going to show them in the future).
5.madara should had unlocked the elder son eyes and not the rikudou eyes and that happened because he had SENJU DNA.
6.EMS didnt exist until the uchiha sealed their own eyes.
by doing this they prevent themselves from achieving their real power. why?i dont know
7.so the original order was sharingan -Msharingan-rinnegan(elder son eyes if you dont have senju DNA and if you do you would awaken the rikudou eyes)
8.we still don't know how do you awaken the rinnegan(just transplanting senju DNA did nothing)
so its possible that you grow old and dies without awakening it. in other words something needs to happen in order to awake the rinnegan( time is not related with the rinnegan's awakening)
