That is referring to his childhood. By the time Sasuke walked off, Naruto was living in a cozy village, working with a great sannin, having fun with friends and making a name for himself, while being protected by loved ones.

While you have a point about Sasuke's suffering don't forget that the same hands of friendship were offered to Sasuke by Naruto and company. However Sasuke chose to stand alone and sought power through darker means.

Much of his suffering was a product of his own desire for revenge. So yes you are correct Sasuke suffered much as well. However, a large portion of his suffering...was self inflicted.
