Based on the following:

• Her pink hair (Pure Uzumaki's Have Red Hair). Sakura is the only character in the manga with pink hair, is that going to be significant?
• The symbol she has showcased on her back can be spotted in significant places.
• Naruto didn't learn of his origins until later in his life. (It was forbidden to talk about in a sense). Could Sakura's development be similar.

I'm not saying she'll get a massive power up or anything I just think Kishi has something up his sleeve but I'm not going to hold my breath. What you think?
