Is Sakura capable of defeating SOMEONE in Akatsuki?

Sakura could punch the lights out of anyone in Akatsuki. If you don't believe me than look at a ninja like Naruto who gets punched by Sakura all the time. Her punches are so quick that he can't even sense it.

3. The odds are overwhelmingly in Sakura's favour. Kisame can only heal his injuries if Samehade has chakra. He's not hitting Sakura long enough to absorb chakra if Sasori couldn't. You're not getting the point. The slugs can be devoured so long as they force Kisame to look for Sakura, who will the opportunity to escape.

But like I said to eagle, your bias is writing scenarios that doesn't allow Sakura to fight unrestricted. We can both play this game, but it won't lead anywhere.

3. yet the odds arent. samhade can instantly suck the chakra out of something it touches which is why kisame wasnt knocked back when he blocked killer be's attack. if sakura gets in close kisame can shave off her chakra by having the blade get close to her(like when he stole some of naruto's chakra) or have it block one of her hits and all if not most of her chakra is taken.

kisame is also very durable and in the event that he is hit he can survive and recover. kisame has a counter for all of sakura's tech but sakura cant counter everything kisame does. she isnt fast enough to escape the water dome if kisame was pushed that far. if traped in a pool of water she cant "punch her way out", if kisame turned the field into an ocean he could easy overwhelm sakura and katsuya with sharks and other large scale suiton.

Sakura was taught by Tsunade, who is undoubtedly a taijutsu master herself. Your mistake is equating elegance with skill. As someone who used to practice MMA, I can tell you this with confidence, it doesn't matter how pretty your dress it up, a punch is a punch and all that matters is making sure you hit.

I'm not touching Deidara because I don't see Sakura beating him unless she can get close before he can take off. I'm talking about Kakuzu and Kisame, two fighters who also fight at close range, but okay, since you're not getting the point - what if Sakura somehow managed to prevent Deidara from putting distance between them? What if Deidara can't go airborne and thus can't use his more powerful jutsu? Do you see where I'm going with this?

If a close range fighter is weak against a long range fighter that's because they're not close enough. Flip that coin and you have a long range fighter who is weak against a close range fighter because they're not far away enough.

That is of course beside the point.

the thing is.

sakura has no amazing speed. she isnt blitzing anyone. and any fight will start off with her going in for a swing, because thats the only thing she can do that would have any kind of effect. breaking the ground is something even kakashi could dodge and wouldnt catch a s rank ninja like that.

know that sakura isnt fast (she has decent speed) that means anyone faster or with decent speed would easily keep up with her. i.e kisame and kakuzu.

sakura as no counter to kakuzu's large scale jutsus, she cant fight all 4 hearts and kakuzu at the sametime, and kakuzu is also better at taijutsu.

this isnt a biased scenerio, its sakura has to get close to do damage and she is going up against durable people, who are better if not as good at taijutsu, and both have large scale jutsu's. the odds are against her

But keep in mind that opponents not just stand smiling at her when she lunch her attack unless they are Rikudou Madara

lol, "diamond hard" - Sakura will make his shit crumble like brittle earth. And better taijutsu feats against who? Sakura is a taijutsu type, she has much greater strength, ridiculous evasiveness and can one-shot most people in the series.

Kisame has to catch Sakura first, but OK, say he does. Sakura summons Katsuyu and has her dissolve in countless clones and go in different directions while she hides in one of them.

Kisame has no way of knowing which way she's going and has to contend with acid spewing slugs. He ends up expending chakra aimlessly. Sakura waits for him to give on the dome, and then fights him when it suits her. Kisame ain't taking her hits.

Kakazu's jutsu which harden his skin was said that it can't be destroyed by physical attacks so I doubt that sakura's fist will do anything to him but maybe she can damage him with katsyua 's acids
I agree that she can counter his hearts attacks and may she will be able to destroy some of his hearts but beating his real body won't be easy since kakazu can fly with his threads

Yes 'kisami can catch her with his giant water prison ,he was able to catch even bee who is much faster than sakura even in base ,then he can summon thousands of sharks or simply absorb her chakra ,base kisame(kisame before merging with same had a) was able to absorb v1 bee's chakra instantly with one touch ,so I am sure that he can absorb her whole chakra when he is being merged with same had a
Summoning katsyua and then hiding inside one of her many parts ,then trying to get out of the water prison is useless since kisame can sense the chakra while he is being merged with samihada ,when bee tried to do something similar to that with his ink ,kisame sensed him and followed him easily ,kisame is much faster than sakura in his water prison
So I don't think that she has a chance against kisame,also he surly can survive her punches(if she could punch him) by his regeneration,he regenerated even after his thorax cage appeared against bee

Sakura : immense dodging prowess (Pretty much only Obito comes close to this cause of kamui), immense jumping prowess ( 0 person in the akatsuki is close to her), impense strength ( 0 person in the akatsuki is close to this), impense speed (1 or 2 people are close to her in this from the akatsuki).

Notice that the only problem with her speed is that its not in the form of shunshin like itachi/sasuke and etc. However, just because it is not in the form of a shunshin does not mean it is slow. Hashirama is stupid fast.. however, he doesn't have a shunshin like Minato or Tobirama.

I mean yo if someone wants to have a legit debate for Hidan/kakuzu/zetsu/Sasori.. i can end it pretty quick.. people are undermining Sakura's ABILITIES, because she hasn't used them in combat, because she hardly been in a combat scenario, where she could use them.

Woooow. Sakura is overrated Lol She is nowhere near strenght compared to her teammates. She can beat hidan and white zetsu. Sasori's poison paralyzes her without antidote. Deidara blows her to pieces, worst case scenario he uses C4 and she won't even know what's going on. Kakuzu overwhelms her with his elemental attacks. Kisame, Itachi, Pain and obito don't even need an argument Lol
