lightning is natural energy. SM Naruto is one with natural energy. SM Naruto has the reaction and sensing feats that would lead me to believe he can easily sidestep Kirin

I think logic and science don't always apply in a manga...In a hypothetical situation like this, common sense would say 'no he can't dodge it ' , but fiction-wise I think he could.

Phahaha, this is really tempting me to put it in my signature.

If naruto dodged 3rd Raikage's hell striker jutsu at the last second, I'm lead to believe that as soon as the lightning has been gathered, naruto can anticipate Sasuke's movements (which 3T Sasuke hasn't shown to be faster than 3rd Raikage) and sidestep right before Sasuke points.

This way, I don't rely on the argument that SM Naruto can doodge something as fast as 1/10000 a second, and still prove that SM Naruto's reflexes/sensing > 3T Sasuke (movements and what not)

EDIT: ot: if the 3rd Raikage wasn't quick enough to adjust for Naruto's quick reflexes at the last second, I doubt 3T Sasuke can adjust his hand once he's about to point and Naruto already adjusted himself. Naruto isn't faster than the lightning, he's just faster than 3T Sasuke

God damn I swear I provide the most logical explanation to everything on this base, unbiased too, and people still want to disagree with the word of god (my word). My word is final. My word is /thread

3T sasuke has better reflexes than sandaime raikage, shown by his ability to dodge V1 Ei's elbow and hit him with chidori. Kirin's lightning bolt is so wide that it takes up a significant portion of the roof of the uchiha complex while naruto was only able to shift his upper body against sandaime raikage. So even if sasuke's reflexes were only as good as the raikage's, naruto isn't going to move out of the AoE before the bolt strikes.

Well Kakashi did cut a lightening bolt, which is logically faster than Kirin.. but yea.

sounds reasonable. However, I do feel like kirin is a pin point attack, not necessarily an aoe attack. I think SM Naruto is durable enough to take a blow of Kirin, but in the event that he's not, being able to dodge the epicenter of the bolt, and getting hit by the aoe, shouldn't hurt him too badly
