In a sense, this is the admin's private property and we are guests. If someone was in your house, they go by your rules, correct? Same applies here. If you've said something in a PM I would just PM a mod and tell them you've made a mistake and that you're sorry about it. I'm sure that would go by better than them discovering a poor PM.

I love you man, but the truth is, everything on here is archived. Archives can become full, and once they do it will remove the oldest content in the archive. So anything PM'd with the past year is probably still archived.

Admins have access to all the data on the site so obviously they can check PMs. But privacy of members is respected and unless reported no one is going to bother with it. So don't worry, no one is going through your inbox unless you reported it.
