Goku can planet bust. But why he need to do that as he was in good side. Ok, he faces with 2 characters that can bust a planet(Frieza and Buu) and can match or overpower them easily(Freiza). SSJ3 Goku was at the same level as Kid Buu(he bust earth one time) and clearly far above Namek Frieza in PL where that Freiza can bust a planet. So you still dont want to believe that Goku can bust a planet too if he want by power scaling. Saiyan race was the strongest races in DBZ if they can access Super Saiyan power but you still doubt their power? Come on Hago
