Is Orochimaru dead yet?

Ok. This may seem like a stupid question since it was seen in both the manga and the anime that Sasuke killed Orochimaru. However, Kabuto seemed to have taken in a part of Orochimaru and when the snake thing comes out of his stomach in his fight against Itachi it looks like Orochimaru. Another piece is that Kabuto did not revive Orochimaru yet despite knowing how to do Edo Tensei and having Anko as well as being there when Orochimaru died. Sorry if I sound stupid but I am just really confused. Did Kabuto store some of Orochimaru's DNA in himself?

Yeah, he absorbed the rest of him. I wonder if he can pop out of him like he did on Sasuke. But I really doubt it since he's been sealed by Itachi.

Doesn't matter if Kabuto has his DNA. He is sealed by Itachi forever.

Oro's soul is sealed by Itachi, so only his body can be revived as seen in Kabuto's case.

iv been wondering that myself, some people believe that the snake kabuto always talks to is orochimaru, but yes he injected oro dna into himself, the oro from his stomache was from the sibling jutsu thing, he also had kimmimaru and the sound 4

this. kabuto can recreate his body, but since his soul is sealed, oro isnt coming back.

Zetsu had no idea about the tiny snake. So obviously he would report that Oro was sealed. Hence why Kabuto never tried.

Well these are the things u wanted to know i think:

1. No Orochi is not dead, he is permanently sealed in a druken dream state.
2. Sasuke only absorbed the 'soul' part of Orochimaru, the 'body' was taken and absorbed by Kabuto.

Kabuto cannot bring back oro because itachi sealed oro when he was fighting with sasuke

Wow, good point. If that one snake that escaped indeed was Orochimaru (which i'm sure was Kishi's intent) then he wasn't sealed, just killed.

He's at some parts producing experiments in both Itachi's sword/jar and death reapor seal, while a small part has been killed and another within Kabuto.

I think that small part of Oro's chakra which the snake had, didnt have Oro's soul, but maybe Kishi will bring him back somehow

Hmmm. Ok. Now more things start to make sense. I forgot about the part with Itachi. I was wondering why Kabuto would not resummon Orochimaru if he had more than enough to ressurect him.

But I still wonder if Orochimaru will ever come back. He was a pretty big part of the story until Sasuke easily defeated him.

I want to see Naruto fight Jiraiya though . But that is off topic.

But if he was secretly any of the Kage fighting Madara (using that face transplant no jutsu thingy) at the moment in an attempt to steal the Rinnegan, I sure as hell wouldn't complain. I'd also get a nostalgia shock.
