$90 for the 3DS, $40 for the game

$130 seems like a lot for a sapphire remake which I already have the old version.

is it really that much better?

That depends on if you competitively battle or not.

Yeah. Truth be told, you get a lot of things (mega stones) from basically the entire series in 1 game. Although some say a delta emerald may be on the way but it's just rumors.

I was hoping for something like that but I'm not sure how DLC could implement something like that, especially on the 3ds. Maybe Nintendo won't be cash cow not nice word.

there are talks of battle frontier later on being added to the games.. most likely they will send and update through the nintendo store and you will gain it that way.

ORAS is good however i would not buy a 3DS just for one game.

if you have a 3DS already then ye get it. its a good game

It's alot better than the old sapphire version, you get megas, harder gym battles, elite 4 etc.

Fufck no thats for nerds

So you're only going to play for pretty much nostalgia and the story (I'm assuming you won't play wifi battles)? Yeah, it's a waste. Don't get me wrong I love pokemon but buying a 3ds just for pokemon and only for nostalgia is pretty dumb. Pokemon OR/AS is the best remake & pokemon game but your reasons for buying it seem pretty unreasonable. The biggest waste is buying a console just for one game franchise, trust me I bought my xbox 360 (2008) just for Halo and I regret it now.

The gym and elite battles weren't that hard.Especially after catching Groudon,I was finding myself beating the elite with just that one pokemon.
