[Question] Is OP worth watching?

I've been contemplating watching OP for a while now but the series is so long I'm not sure if I want to go through the trouble of watching it. Especially when there's so many fillers in there.

World building and the set-up. From the start to the end everything is carefully connected and teased in a much better way than most manga.

The attention of detail is the best.

OP is definitely interesting, but it's not for everybody, if never ending fights are your thing, you're better off watching/reading something like my hero academia (where they may even fight to explain things). If you want a more steady story, then OP is your thing.

Just watch the anime till the timeskip then switch over to the manga. While I do prefer the manga a lot more; the anime has a great soundtrack and really improves upon the manga at times. Plus, before the timeskip has a lot of great animation moments, i.e one of my fav arc in the anime

its not worth it i'd say as OP is pretty bad but if u do read manga i'd skip over useless and boring arcs like the enel one
better yet skip straight to marineford, thats where something important finally happens
in part 2 skip to doffy fight and stop reading, nothing interesting is going on right now

As you are new in this section and to One Piece in general there are a few pitfalls. The biggest one is that there are some trolls in this section. And this guy down here is one of the more annoying ones.

Whatever you do just start at the beginning and don't skip any episodes or entire arcs. This guy is a bit of a loser who likes to brag how many infractions he has and is proud that his toxic posts got him banned from the Naruto section. Now he is stuck here to annoy us by shit posting. Luckily he is already on his last warning, so by the time you've hit the end of One Piece and want to contribute in discussions this guy probably won't be here anymore.

so ignore this loser, the anime is fine if you can binge it. The pacing might feel a bit slow when you watch it on a weekly basis. But there is still the manga at that point.

You got it backwards. Before the time skip the animation was garbage, looks like a 1970s cartoon

I agree with this guy to some extent, don't watch it, just read the manga, enel arc doesn't even contribute or progress the story in one bit, he only went there to prove a point, like WTF.

no seriously If u were to ask your question back on when one piece at it's finest like before they make (one chapter into 10 episodes of anime) everyone will tell you what I did.

to sum it up for u watch the anime from the start to episode 500 and quite something like that.
