We cannot say that he isn't a good tactic. He's knowledge is greater than Kakashi's. And his analysis is pretty good but suddenly he stopped thinking about anything and he cannot react to Naruto and Kakashi's plan. He's not trying anymore. Maybe it's because he's exhausted mentally or idk... He's waiting for Juubi?

And honestly with Madara here he's pushed aside. Before this battle he was like a god and unstoppable, now Madara is about to take control over Juubi. Madara didn't even teach Obito how to use seal on Juubi which means Madara is careful and expecting a betrayal maybe.

It's like Obito is not a factor anymore.

Obito, in this situation, is a pawn,

meaning, now that he's played his part of the plan, he can act recklessly(meaning he's confident that his goal will be achieved)

His identity being revealed, was not part of the plan.

His weakness being discovered, was not part of his plan.

Naruto getting chakra from the other bijuu, was not planned.

There's a limit to how much one can predict, then counter.

Maybe his goal was to play tough, until madara arrived....

He and Madara didn't talk at all. Madara is just ordering around and Obito accept everything(well it's not like Obito wouldn't be in the dream world but he was so confident that he'd be the one making it). Before this war he was so confident that he'll not fell in Nagato's position but in the end he's been also used which is ridiculous. This plot driving my crazy...
