Is Obito bad or good villain?

I personally feel like a good villain will stuck to his plan no matter what. Even if he knows it's not the right way he will still do it till end.
And I kinda start disliking obito for doing this all for 16 years and when someone says:''there are no shortcuts to be hokage'' he starts to doubt all he has done.

and he's not really a villain, he's an Uchiha

But it was a sh!t decision on Kishi's part to have Obito be like, "Yeah, I planned to put the world into an infinite genjutsu since I was 14, killed people and wrecked lives, but now I don't wanna anymore:'("

Why would he just begin to regret everything he worked for just now? We didn't see him regret anything when he was Tobi

He's not a villain ; he is one of the main antagonist of this manga .

Killed main character's parents , made Naruto cry 2 times and almost convinced him to join his side , Kishi has foreshowed many times that they're parallels , Obito is Naruto without friends .

In other words , Obito is the best antagonist in Naruto .

He's a surprisingly low quality villain. I have friends that make Fan Fics villains that are way better than Obito. Sure their overall story might not be as good, but at least they beat Kishi on the main villain. But Kishi's a professional!!! How could he screw this up when he's supposidly been planning Obito's reveal for years.
