I think it's been implied numerous times that Natsu is end. And END stands for Etherious Natsu Dragneel according to fairy tail wiki. Since when was it confirmed that Natsu was END? I'm up to date on the manga and even though it's implied, that doesn't mean he's END. Or am I sorta forgetting something? I do somewhat remember Zeref saying Natsu was end or at least implying it. But if he's end and igneel knew who end was, why would he tell Natsu that he is the only one who can defeat end?

Well damn. So then what was Mard Geers point in holding ENDS book if Natsu was right in front of him? He said he has seen his master END befor

I think a *********** translation puts it better than mangapanda's unlucky for you I can't find it anywhere. When Natsu is END he changes appearance that is why Mard Geer wasn't able to recognize that he is END. What's more interesting though is that if Acnologia and Zeref fear this END what kind of power does he possess?

It was explicitly stated by Zeref that Natsu is indeed END. END takes the form of demon unlike Natsu human hence Mard Geer couldn't recognize him. In other words Natsu's demon powers are sealed inside the book of END.
