I'm asking this due to the recent events in the manga where it is confirmed about his reincarnation status from Ashura and how Naruto went down the same path as him. ANd also in line with the Child of Prophecy of stuff and him being the son of a Hokage many people feel that this destroys Naruto's character and kind of ruins the theme of the series. What do you guys think because I'm completely blank on the matter.

If you don't hqve your own opinion on this then you haven't been reading the manga.

Ashura wasn't bad, Naruto isn't bad too. He's the main character and his childhood dream is to become the Hokage, there's nothing surprising that his father is a Hokage lol.

Naruto isnt special because of ashura's chakra, the chakra doesnt influence the reincarnations thoughts or his actions, if it did then no ashura or indra reincarnation would co-operate since black zetsu said its very rare to see them co-operate
The chakra simply goes and sits in the person who most closely resembles the person, it doesnt change anyone

The prophecy is just a prediction, what can happen not what will happen, the future isnt set in stone, if it was minato wouldnt be surprised at naruto succeeding

Naruto inherited none of his parents' best perks, what you talking about?

It's just that for me it kind of conflicts with the theme of hard work trumps all and the whole underdog appeal because after hearing this from Hagoromo he gets Sage of Six Paths mode, or whatever it's called, and is rivaling Madara and going up against Kaguya now, but he never really worked for that power it was given to him and Sasuke by the Sage of Six Paths.

Naruto Uzumaki's theme is unity no matter what and never giving up, not working hard. It just so happens Naruto is an incredibly hard worker as well. He worked for everything he has, he suffered for all he's gotten, and he inherited nothing. Ashura's chakra has nothing to do with what Naruto has accomplished. Being a magnanimous person and a beacon of hope is why Naruto is this strong, he earned all this power through his perfect ideals and great work ethic. Hashirama, Naruto, and Madara all proved that reincarnation business means diddly shit for what you want and what you can have. It's all just to add meat to the story, nothing more. Why else do you think Naruto has succeeded where the others have failed? Because that's the merit of Naruto and all of his choices, which he's made dutifully to better the world and everybody around him at his own hand and work.

I think the change in theme was needed. To make him a believeable and equal rival to Sasuke. If Sasuke was born in a special clan than Naruto should be to. What this did was show people that even without the Kyuubi he would still specialize in having loads of chakra.

Ashura chose Naruto, it's not that Ashura=Naruto and all the other incarnates.
There's a reason why he was chosen, "The Child of Prophecy" can still be applied seeing as to how Ashura chose him.

And to current Manga knowledge he could be the most important incarnate, fending the world from a complete end.
I'm sure he is due to the fact that MangaPhax shows this is the first time the "IT" gag has been pulled in NV history.

Not in the slightest.

It's been clear that Naruto was destined for greatness, and from the first arc, Kakashi said that Naruto might one day change the ninja world. And Naruto didn't get any perks from being the fourth Hokage son, quite the opposite actually, he got more perks from being Kushina's son, and being an Uzumaki.

Those who think there is some kind of contradiction, are not paying attention to the themes of the story, which is not surprising with this fanbase.

Naruto didn't inherit shit from his parents, even Hagoromo said it. He's done nothing but work and train and make the world the better. He's an amazing character.
