Is Naruto the reason Boruto series is bashed/hated?

I think the Boruto series exists because of Naruto. Without Naruto this series would be nothing. So if anything, it being compared only means that some Naruto fans are watching Boruto and are just unsatisfied with it.

Now imagine that the fans of Naruto just stop watching Boruto, what happens to it? :eww:

Not everyone agrees with you. We find the series shittier than Naruto. Period. If this was a real Naruto sequel base would be full of life. Its dead now.

ha ha don't be mistaken the last year for naruto manga had many people leaving and naruto shippuden anime was barely even being watched. remember when i was the only one discussing the anime? hence 123filler

boruto's lack of respect for naruto alone,calling him my stupid old man is enough to turn me away from the series,self entitled lazy millenial brat who has no idea that the peace he enjoys today is all thanks to the previous generation's sacrifices,boruto need to lose a leg or something so he can take his shinobi journey a bit seriously....no shortcuts to becoming legends like sasuke,naruto,kakashi and a host of other amazing ninja's.....it involves sweat and blood

Boruto changed from that attitude after the movie. Also, what have you got against millennials? Not all millennials are like that. Being millennial just means that you were born in (or close to the dawn of) our current millennium.

For me not because of Naruto series but the whole idea of Boruto story plus Ikemoto and Filler addicted SP.
