animation quality is the reason why many do not have naruto at number 1

but then when an anime has been running for this long

FMA Series shits on Naruto manga and anime. Hunter X Hunter also is way better then Naruto. So Naruto is not the best shounen manga. I actually read more then one manga.O_O I like one punch man a bit more then one piece also. Fairytail is just terrible in my opinion.

2. Death note (i'd start watching this one)
3. Naruto
4. Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood (brotherhood, not the regular)

Yeah,because I'm not that big anime fan and the only anime/manga I really care about is Naruto.

Hmm, originally I would have said yes. Before the fillers and when I only watched the Anime Naruto (pre Shippuden) was my favourite anime however considering it was the first Anime I seriously followed that isn’t much of a surprise.

When I actually began to expand my Anime interests and to read Manga my favourites changed.

For Manga I would say Full Metal Alchemist was my favourite.

For Anime I have to separate my choices into different points but my favourite anime is generally ether Death Note or Ghost In the Shell

Shonen: Naruto, until I got tired of the Anime fillers and instead chose to read the Manga.

Story: Code Geass

Characters: I will need to think about it a bit more

Setting: Ghost In the Shell Stand Alone Complex

Philosophy: Ghost In the Shell Stand Alone Complex

Comedy: Dragon Ball Z Abridged

New Anime: Attack on Titan

Others: Monster (although I have not finished), Black Lagoon, Darker then Black, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Soul Eater, Bleach, Breserk and a few more titles.

The anime I have come to dislike the most however is without a doubt Sword Art Online….
