Is Naruto targeted to the rocker/emo people?

I dislike stereotypes, but mostly over here where I live, all the naruto fans, guys or girls, seem to be either rockers, skaters, or emos. Well this is my view in the matter... I think that these kind of people find naruto so cool, is because of its concept. I mean, the characters hair, the cloating, even the akatsukis black nails seem to be gothic/ rocker orientated. I mean, just look at pain and all his pearcings, and a lot of characters seem to be this way. Like I said, i DONT like stereotypes, but its not hard to notice when 75 percent of naruto lovers in the part of the world where I live in(texas) are either rockers/skaters/emos

Yeah, youre probably right.. Well I can consider myself half athlete and kinda half rocker, because of my raver hair, but I guess it doesnt matter , as long as people like it.
Btw im working on getting my hair like sasuke,=p. People say I look like sai, but with the hair, they have to say I look like a sasuke,lol!!

I ain't one, too and I agree to this one. I think Naruto is for everyone who enjoys the anime. It probably just so happens that most of us maybe are those kind of people.

Every one I know aren't any of those though. And we enjoy RnB than any of those rock type music. xD

Well, it's not like I haven't noticed myself, but that is not entirely true. Sure there are a lot of people who take to these trends whom follow Naruto, but I've seen a lot of other who hasn't that follows Naruto. I myself wouldn't, were I to be categorized, fit in any of these.

I think that the reason it seems "emo/rockers" (I'll just call them alternative people), like Naruto is because generally, at least where I live, anime and manga is alternative entertainment. It's not very mainstream or considered cool to like it here, so generally the only people who will admit they like this alternative entertainment are the ones who are just different already.
