To start with all chakra and everything the manga started with has been taken from indian culture.
Even though most mythological stories tell us of good and evil fighting, stories from mahabharatha(world largest epic) tells us how being together and making peace and perserverance takes us(same thing you see on naruto).

Then the sage mode, hindu sages(in myhtology) lives in a forest and have a good grasp of nature, good deductive skills and some are even strong when it comes to defense.

another thing was the third eye of hashirama, using a curse to one's advantage...it's all there

Now, the latest addition is The sons of sage of six paths.
1)INDRA-(hindu god-king).although the guy is good, he is picture as one of the top jealous people.
2)ASHURA-asura as in mythology, the asura/demons are low life.Mostly pictured as bad guys, some of them mainly demon kings are sometimes pictured as generous people. Most of the time, they face the wrath of indra one way or another.

both indra and asura is depicted as side of a coin(in both manga and religion)

and i feel hashirama is a bit indian more than japanese

i have no idea of who queen ootsutski is ? but i think he may be taking the epic as an inspiration

what do you think?

Kishi has been known to take/show powers that relate to mythology- many anime's/manga do the same thing. incase you didnot know

Kamui is a japanese god, so is izanagi, so is amaterasu, so is susanoo etc...

The 1,000 hand bhuddha is mythology based, as is the god tree.

Pains asure path, deva path- and the notion of 7 paths + chakra can be related to Hinduism.
-the tailed beast come from japanese folklore. - as does the shinju.

so, yes- kishi gets alot of inspiration from real world mythological sources- he doesnot just make everything up out of nowhere.
