I have came across people saying how not battlewise naruto is but then naruto is that one character that has fought battles that he's element dont even help out at all, yet he always finds out a way to win even in difficult circumstance
1. Against zabuza, when naruto broke kakashi out of zabuza's water prison using common sense what he did there was super smart
2. Against Neji, how he dug the ground and uppercuted neji , that was also dope
3. Against kabuto, how he used his hand to hold down kabuto and rasenganed him
4. Against pain he did some pretty smart shit
In the last battle against the Edo army he did good he even outsmart kaguya with his k.bunshins the truth is naruto might not have non jitsu like the others but then he has really outsmarted some OP people with the few he mastered

Well, yes, he is a bit stupid. Not really mentally challenged, but he has his moments. Naruto just isn't a thinker in the relative sense. However the years of fighting constantly made him an adept battle strategist with his own quirks here and there.

I would say Adult Naruto right now is pretty intelligent. I mean he has to be, you know with running the Village and all.

however in battles Naruto is godlike w/ intelligence he is a perfect tactician and very adept at feints, misdirection, trickery, deceptions, and exploiting weaknesses. he is the best in-the-moment thinker and can think of a counter immediately plus he is extra smart from running the whole world as a kage

I still wouldn't say a prodigal genius in tactics or anything but he's got a natural instinct for it. His fighting style is unrefined & he thought Kurenai was fat but he's more unpredictable than intelligent. A trait that's just as useful.

I would say while Naruto has his moments of stupidity, he's really good instincts as he can formulate strategies and tactics within the instant such as Naruto's feint against Kakuzu, bypassing Pain's Shared Vision, utilizing clever jutsu timing against both Kiba and Neji, and managing to warp the entire Alliance outside of Juubito's barrier. Even Naruto was praised by Shikamaru for his reactions during the Sasuke Rescue Arc because Naruto's instincts enables him to formulate strategies that deceives even some of the more experienced and intelligent ninja in the moment.

So, Naruto's not a skilled tactician in terms of formulating plans or planning ahead, but Naruto's is really skilled in using his instincts and utilizing tactics right in the moment.

Nope not just an opinion. Naruto was heavily inspired by Goku. His character follows the same cliche way Goku did. Look at majority of the shonen heros they all follow a similar characterization to please the audience. Naruto is the product of that same category.

Goku didn't however Kishimotto himself stated that he took a lot of inspiration from DBZ. Its shown a lot in his work.
