Me and my friend were arguing about if Naruto was smart and I think he is and my friend thinks that he is the stupidest person. leave what you think

plus the fight with...wait almost all of his major fight naruto has been shown to have some true intelligence.

Like the others above have said, he is smart in his own way. Naruto is slow in calm times but in battle he comes up with brilliant strategies in battle like vs Pain he hid clones in the debris, against Kiba he transformed into Akumaru and made Kiba hit his own partner, vs Neji he covered up a hole with a shadow clone to get Neji to lower his guard and took him out. So I rambled there but overall Naruto in the right situations is genius in battle

I strongly disagree. Naruto has never been dumb, only impatient & hot headed. Naruto's battle/combat intellect has greatly increased. Look how he fought pain, Edo Tensei Raikage, etc. Powers and Jutsus aside, If naruto was dumb he wouldnt of have defeated so many top tier shinobi.

He is battle-smart, but also a complete air-head..... Sometimes the latter is what shows more, sometimes its the former. All that matters though, is that when it comes down to it, Naruto is thinking of ways to beat opponents, and he always does xd

I think, this is a serious time too. Someone trying to absorb your chakra completely For this thread, he just think a different way. He's not smart but he's creative.
