Is naruto now on par with madara and pein ?

Not even close. That would mean he's past saanin level b/c Jiriya couldn't even win. On top of that Naruto only knows the many forms of Rasengan and Kage bushin. I would say he is even with them when he learns to control the fox completely.

I think that naruto needs to be able to use sage mode with the fox chakra and maybe he would be on par. Naruto's done pretty well if u've seen his track record with fighting who knows, maybe with a few hints from shikamaru and the knowledge that kakashi knows then he may be able to pull of a win from pein.

Uh Naruto would own Sasuke's gay ass.
Everyone underestimates him, it pisses me off. He has one of the strongest jutsu in the world, RS. He created it, when even the 4th couldn't combine his own elemental chkra into Rasengan. He has more mastery over sage arts than Jiraiya. He is on or past Jiraiya's level already.

your right, but still there are things that naruto can't do, his fighting style isnt too good, but he does learn fast in fights, hes very good at making techniques into his own but so is sasuke. I think naruto should still do some training b4 he could fight sasuke, naruto doesnt have that coldness and does hold back sometimes. I do not underestimate him .
I agree. Couple things Naruto is lacking is speed, and more techniques (especially long range ones). He needs different types of techniques in his arsenal to counter everyone. His wind type jutsu would get owned be Sasuke's fire jutsus. All he has are different forms of rasengan, kakge bushin, and sage mode.

because he "surpassed" him in Sage Training. And I'm not saying he is'nt I mean even
Pa Frog said "Maybe Naruto-chan's a sage to eclipse that of Jiraiya-chan."
So we know for sure Naruto has strength, But here's the real difference between them.
Jiraiya has more expierience than Naruto. Sure Naruto can pull off some very clever moves but I think Jiraiya has him on that. For example when Jiraiya fought Pain Nobody even noticed the clone, that ran off to collect info, during the Pein vs. Jiraiya showdown.
If Naruto fights Pein, he's going to have to be very Careful on making his strategy, but that's just my opinion.

you do know the standard attack of naruto don't you ?
and now that he knows the advantage of the kage bunshin, he will use it for his own advantage..
a fight where naruto is involved in has kage bunshin in... and he will use the bunshins to experience the battle and come up with a good idea to beat his enemies..
but then again, it's the rinnegan we're talking about.. it's secrets are yet to be revealed and maybe the rinnegan can see right trough the real one... if that's the case than naruto is doomed and cant relly on his kage bunshin technique
Simply NO. I mean Naruto is the name of the show, so of course he will be the strongest, but that is because he is the main character and he have to be. But for now I don't think so. Maybe he will come up something against Pain but we will have to wait and see.
well let me put it like this:
there is always been stronger bad guys than the main character of a story/movie or whatsoever.. and the ''final'' villain is always stronger than the main hero..
in this case.. pein IS stronger than naruto i'm sure of it..
but anyways, we will have to wait and see as u said..
i'm pretty sure naruto will come up with something..
