We actually don't know if any of those characters at HQ are dead. I think the Barrier Squad erected some huge barriers to take some of the damage from the blast. It probably didn't kill them, but it destroyed enough that they cant communicate with the alliance anymore.

Naruto isn't going to 'tell' the alliance to forgive Obito, he's going to 'beg' them to forgive Obito just like he begged Ei to forgive Sasuke. If the alliance decides against forgiving Obito, then there's nothing naruto can or will do just like he didn't fight Ei in order to save Sasuke.

And my goodness, reread the damn pain arc, Nagato asks the exact same question as the bolded. And why in the world is Ino, Hinata or Shikamaru deciding to forgive Obito have anything to do with Naruto being unrealistic in HIS DECISION to forgive Obito?
