Is Naruto Hashirama?

Reincarnation means the soul of Asura is reborn as others, and then as Hashirama, and then is reborn as Naruto. Same goes for Indra reincarnating many times, and then being reborn as Madara, and then reborn as Sasuke. So is Naruto Hashirama, and Sasuke Madara?

Whether it makes sense to you or not is irrelevant, this is the explanation given in the manga.

Besides transmigration in its purest form means to move from one state to another or from one place to another. Which means in this case transmigration can be used just as well as it can in some faiths.

No they arent the exact same soul, otherwise madara couldnt have been brought back while Sasuke is still alive. Same with Hashimaru edo tensei while naruto is alive.

I would agree that Naruto and Hashirama are the same, if Sasuke and Madara didnt coexist, due to both also being Indra reincarnations. Unless in the Naruto universe, the soul can be divided.
As nothing was said about it, so no, they are not the same.

Cocepts like reincarnation in most animes dont need to be taken by heart.
