Is Naruto calling Sasuke a "great friend" horribly misplaced?

Now that I think about...Naruto saying that him and Sasuke are great friends in chapter 671 is almost as bad as calling Obito the "coolest guy". He willingly helped revived the Juubi which lead to the deaths of Neji and the fathers of his other friends(Ino and Shikamaru). On top of that trying to kill him, Sakura, Kakashi and his entire village.
