Is most of Konaha Senju?

It is unknown if the Senju clan still exists as an independent clan since there are no known persons with the Senju name alive — with the Fifth Hokage, Tsunade, being the only possible exception to date. It is very possible that the Senju clan disbanded into smaller clans and families, especially since they never had specific traits or techniques like the Uchiha or Hyūga clans with which to easily identify them. Their legacy however, lives on strongly in the hearts of the people of Konoha.

They dont have to have the last name senju to be senju. Many could have taken other names. You cant say they are not, cause just like you said they have no specific traits, so they very well could be senju.

care to tell me how you know the senju died off and why

we dont know why or how and the reason i say they died off is because they and the uchiha founded the leaf village so if they were alive then that is where they would be and only senju we know of is tsunade .....i fins it ver hard to believe such a powerful clan so close to the storyline would not mention senju in the leaf village

This is stated on the Uzamaki Profile the clan is no longer around they mingled with other people so the pure bloodline is gone their ancestry might stem from senju but that does not make them full out senju.So in other words no they are not senju

i don't think the Senjus were that interested in preserving some blood purity, or in other words make sure that the name and characteristics of the clan survived as a tangible thing as were the Uchihas. the Senjus were more about creating a heritage shared by all the different clans.


to put it simply, the Uchihas were what one would call 'racists' in the real world, believing in some blood purity of sorts and preserving the name of the clan and the clan came before all else. the Senjus were above this kind of thinking mixing with the people and believing in an idea: the will of fire.

how do you know they are not senju....

because if they are senju then they will be konohamaru senju... or ino senju... not konohamaru sarutobi or ino yamanaka , or sakura haruno those are all clans.... remember lee? he doesnt have a clan or we just dont know... same as your question its a plot hole and there most liekly wont ever be an answer...

That is not enough to say they died out. They just might not be as strong, just like the uchiha itachi killed were weaker then the ones before.

After so many decades it really doesn't matter at this point not to Genealogy anyway.The bloodline is so thinned out that nobody even carries the name anymore so if anyone was senju the percentage is dismal at best.but i see where your coming from most shinobi believe in the will of fire that might be what the senju truly past down

They could always marry in other clans or take another name....but yeah its a plot hole that hopefully is explained

too much preoccupation with ancestry, imho, inadvertently takes you down the racism path. i don't know what Kishi has in store, but for the time being and from what was shown i just don't think of the Senjus as a clan interested to preserve its name or characteristics because they apparently thought all were equal.

Uchiha believed in perservence while senju believed in life generatioms thats why konoha strives to pass down will of fire, thats why itachi was a shinibi from konoha, etc, when we sat senju we dont literally mean the clan but the ancestry of gen to gen, while uchiha was always perserved from beginning

that seems to be the idea so far. i do like and admire the skills and talents of the Uchihas shown so far, and i do find them interesting as characters but Senjus ftw! their legacy far surpasses any jutsu the Uchihas might have. (imo at least)

That is also why this war is life vs immortality, madara is all about immortality, rising from dead etc, that is why hashirama has forest jutsus because he has life force, while uchiha had even forbidden jutsus like izanami and izanagi to toy with life forces

yes, exactly. and about protecting freedom, because without freedom there can never be real peace. if everybody is a slave under some genjutsu. though, i think that primarily the idea is what you said: life vs immortality.

its them the uchiha and all the clans they both conquered so all the clans in the village are clans that the uchiha and senju beat. As for where the senju are i think there there, but i guess they don't use the name anymore.
